We keep this short, plain, and honest. Here's exactly what Pixel Pawn collects, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it.

1. Overview

Pixel Pawn ("we", "us") runs an arcade machine rental and restoration platform out of Jersey City, NJ. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, apply for business portal access, or use the portal as an approved partner.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information that helps us run the platform and serve partners well:

  • Business name and venue type.
  • Contact information — owner or representative name, role, and address where applicable.
  • Email address used for sign-in and account communication.
  • Phone number for delivery, swap, and service coordination.
  • Account & application info — the details you submit when applying for business access and any updates you make to your account.
  • Machine request information — which cabinets you're interested in, lineup or swap details, internal notes, and the status of each request.
  • Basic technical data — server logs, IP address, and browser/device info collected automatically when you visit the site.

We don't ask for, or knowingly collect, sensitive personal data like government IDs, financial account numbers, or health information. Payment processing, if used, is handled by third-party processors who collect payment details directly.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Review and approve business portal applications.
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Process and coordinate machine requests, lineups, swaps, deliveries, and service visits.
  • Communicate with you about your account, rentals, and updates to the platform.
  • Improve our cabinets, listings, portal features, and customer experience.
  • Meet legal and tax obligations.

4. Infrastructure & Storage

The Pixel Pawn platform is built on top of managed cloud infrastructure. Authentication, our database, file storage, and server-side functions are provided by Supabase. Your account and application data is stored in a Supabase Postgres database, and any files you upload (such as venue or machine photos) are stored in Supabase Storage. Access to this data is protected by row-level security policies and standard cloud security controls.

5. Sharing & Selling

We do not sell your personal information. We don't rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers.

We only share information when it's necessary to operate the platform — for example:

  • With the infrastructure providers that host our database, storage, and email (such as Supabase).
  • With contractors who help with delivery, installation, or repair, limited to what they need to do the job.
  • When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of Pixel Pawn, our partners, or the public.

6. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, row-level access controls in our database, and limiting administrative access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

7. Your Rights — Updates & Removal

You can ask us at any time to:

  • See what information we have associated with your account.
  • Correct or update information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your account and the personal information attached to it, subject to records we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons.
  • Opt out of non-essential emails.

To make a request, email fernandopawn@gmail.com from the address associated with your account.

8. Analytics & Cookies

Our site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies — mainly to keep you signed in to the portal and to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Any analytics we use is privacy-respecting and reports on anonymized, aggregated traffic patterns rather than individuals.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Some portal features (like staying signed in) won't work properly without them.

9. Children's Privacy

The Pixel Pawn business portal is intended for adults operating venues and businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and — for significant changes — we'll let active partners know by email.
