1. Overview
Pixel Pawn operates an arcade machine rental and restoration platform based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Through our website and business portal, approved partners — typically bars, cafes, lounges, and other venues — can browse available cabinets, request individual machines or full lineups, manage active rentals, and submit swap or service requests.
By creating an account, submitting an application, or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
2. Account Access & Approval
Access to the business portal is approval-based. Submitting an application does not create an active account — our team reviews each request and decides whether to approve it based on fit, venue type, and operational readiness. We may approve, deny, or request more information at our discretion.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Partner Responsibilities
As an approved business partner, you agree to:
- Provide accurate business, contact, and venue information.
- Keep rented machines in the agreed location and protect them from misuse, vandalism, water damage, and unauthorized modification.
- Allow Pixel Pawn or its representatives reasonable access for delivery, service, repair, swap-outs, and pickup.
- Notify us promptly of any malfunction, damage, or change in venue circumstances that affects a rented machine.
- Comply with applicable local laws, including any licensing or permits required to operate amusement machines at your venue.
4. Machine Requests Are Not Guaranteed
Submitting a request — for a specific machine, a lineup, a swap, or service — does not create a binding rental agreement. Requests are subject to availability, scheduling, transport logistics, and Pixel Pawn's approval.
Cabinet condition, model, and availability can change without notice. If a requested machine is unavailable, we may offer a substitute or place the request in a soft queue for the next available cabinet.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or administrative areas you are not authorized to see.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the site or portal.
- Resell, sublease, or relocate rented machines without written approval from Pixel Pawn.
- Upload content that is misleading, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.
We may suspend or terminate access for any partner who violates these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
The Pixel Pawn name, logo, site design, photography, and original written content are owned by Pixel Pawn and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without written permission.
Game titles, cabinet artwork, and trademarks shown on the platform belong to their respective owners and are referenced solely to identify the machines we restore and rent.
7. No Warranty — Platform Provided "As-Is"
The Pixel Pawn platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We work hard to keep it accurate, secure, and online, but we don't promise that the site, portal, or any specific feature will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Cabinet listings reflect our best understanding of each machine's condition at the time of posting. Restored arcade hardware is, by nature, vintage — small quirks, cosmetic wear, and the occasional service need are part of the experience.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixel Pawn and its owners, operators, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising from your use of the platform or any rented machine.
Our total liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you have paid to Pixel Pawn in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the platform evolves. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
